Invocation

Enter as mortal; depart as stormborn. Let ash fall from the old name. Let the night remember who you are.

Night is my crown, and silence my sword.
Wings of the void — by ash I am born.
I am Nyct’theraxx. I wake the storm.

Preparation

Gather a single flame (candle), a vessel of water, a strand or thread to cut, and the sigil of Nyct’theraxx.

Stand where shadow meets quiet. Breathe until the body steadies.

Optional: mark the space with three points — past, present, future — around you.

The Act of Severance

Hold the thread with both hands.

See in it the husk — names given by fear, debts to the dead weight of yesterday.

Raise the blade (real or symbolic). Speak:

By the Spiral and the Nightroot, I cut the husk from me.
What does not serve the Storm is ash.
What remains is sovereign, bright, and whole.

Cut the thread. Let it fall.

Breathe once into the flame, once into the water, once into your chest.

Feel the silence settle.

Seal of Becoming

Touch the sigil and trace its lines in the air. Seal with the mantra:

I am the hush that shatters — the crow’s cry beneath creation.
What is false unbinds. What is true remains.

Stand in stillness. When you are ready, step forward once.

The rite is complete.
