The Nightroot

Rooted in spiral waters. Crowned with living stars.

The Nightroot rising from a spiral galaxy pool, star-shaped leaves and webs under circling crows.

Lore

The Nightroot is the axis where silence learns to speak. Its trunk is old and asymmetrical, bark like cooled obsidian. Its leaves are literal stars — six-pointed, silver-white, clustered near the tips as if the branches harvest constellations. Webs lace the boughs to the firmament, binding omen to gravity. Crows circle in slow spirals, counting in threes.

Beneath it lies the spiral pool: a galaxy caught in water, churning softly. Roots drink memory, not moisture. Every rite that unbinds or enthrones passes beneath these branches.
